Product Description
One-stop shopping: This 10-piece set from Cuisinart has all the cookware components for jobs big and small. Constructed of nonstick hard anodized quantanium to yield professional-style cooking results and easy clean up, each piece made to last. Limited lifetime warranty.

Amazon.com Review
This versatile cookware set from Cuisinart comprises a roomy 8-quart stockpot for soups and pasta, 3- and 1-1/2-quart saucepans, 8- and 10-inch skillets, and a 3-1/2-quart saute pan. The stockpot, saute pan, and saucepans come with tempered glass covers, designed to seal in flavor without hiding the food from view.

Each piece is made from durable hard-anodized aluminum that heats up quickly without hot spots, and each is lined with an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating. Quantanium is designed for healthy low-fat cooking, allowing even delicate foods like fish to be cooked without sticking. Every pan cleans up quickly and easily, and is tough enough for use with metal utensils, giving years of trouble-free service. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles on each pan are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. Together, the six pans in this set will handle almost any everyday cooking task, making them ideal for setting up a new kitchen or replacing older cookware. --Simon Leake

5 out of 5 stars Great cookware set   July 8, 2006

I purchased this cookware set about 1 year ago. My husband and I are both big cookers, eating in at least 6 days per week. I tried one of the stainless skillets first and was very disappointed at how everything we cooked stuck and left stains. Ended up purchasing this set and have been very pleased. Nothing sticks, very easy and quick to wash up. Coulding be happier. The set is very sturdy and I anticipate this being the last set of cookware I will need to purchase.

*Update*
I have now had the set for almost 1 year. The cookware still looks almost new. Food does not stick, there are no scratches in the non-stick surface for food and bacteria to cling to. The anodized finish on the outside remains a dark matte finish. I highly recommend this set of cookware!

Now we have used this set for about three years! One small dark stain on the bottom of the skillet I use the most. Still looks great. Finish is still in great condition. Couldn't be happier.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing value for the price   September 11, 2005

My boyfriend is an expert level cook, while I am just an amateur. He picked out this set of cookware for me, and both us are thrilled with it. It is so easy to clean, it's ridiculous. The handles don't get hot at all, the food quality is coming out really great, and the set looks really pretty and expensive. No one can believe I got this for the price I did.

5 out of 5 stars For those who think the nonstick coating is not so great...   December 14, 2007

Just be glad you didn't buy a Calphalon One Nonstick pan from Williams-Sonoma for full price $140 and then like an idiot, use spray on it which is the reason for the damage to the nonstick. I wish I would've known that before I used it on the nonstick, but it's true....the chemicals in the nonstick sprays damage the nonstick coating of the pan and it is no longer safe to use the pan because it is unhealthy after it's damaged, you have to throw it away and get another one. This Cuisinart nonstick is just as safe and functional as the super expensive pieces by all clad and calphalon, and if you educate yourself to take care of them properly, will last years and years if not for the rest of your life which is a good deal!

5 out of 5 stars Everything we wanted in cookware set   July 23, 2008

My wife and I absolutely love this Cuisinart set. While it seems everybody has a "nonstick" set these days, these pans are truly nonstick. Some of the things that used to be headaches to clean are so easy with this set, most notably my attempts involving eggs. Eggs are usually one of the more difficult things on pans, because the egg whites thin out and burn onto the surface of the pan. But with this set, even if I don't use enough oil, it's a breeze to scoop the eggs off the pan with a regular spatula, and it's just as easy to clean up afterward. Just as a more dramatic example, I've tried putting a single egg on the pan (with the heat on) and I let the egg white spread out a little. I've noticed that when the egg white starts to cook and become opaque, instead of burning onto the surface of the pan, it actually curls away from the pan. And that was without using pam, oil, or butter.

So I think that gets the nonstick point across. The other great thing is that these pans are really light. That's particularly good for my wife, so she doesn't have to hurt her wrists when carrying these things around full of food. But it's even good for me, especially when I'm tilting one of the pots sideways to drain out excess water (I often don't feel like using a strainer). They're nice and easy to pick up and tilt without having to use two hands, and they don't make you feel like your wrist is going to fall off.

Another note on the cleaning, I almost want to say that you really don't have to clean them... After some really light uses, all that might be left on the pan is some oil that could be taken care of with quick deployment of a paper towel. You really ought to clean these things between uses, but there won't be that much to clean, so you can focus on the few spots that need a good scrub, and since they're light it won't be difficult to turn them this way and that to get to whatever spot needs scrubbing. Especially for the price on amazon.com, they're absolutely worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars How Do You Beat This?   November 3, 2007

I thought that the price was worth taking a risk on, but I seriously wondered how they would survive (fabulously), whether they would be as nice in person as the photo (better) and whether I would like them (can't say enough about them). I mean, we're talking about $100. That's less than ONE piece in a ton of other sets. I use them daily and they are stellar.
